Sometimes in life, for us to experience breakthrough moments, we need to allow the breakdowns to happen; this was that moment for me. What prompts a makeup artist to decide to write about and share her deepest, darkest secrets with the world? The answer is freedom.

This was my first attempt at writing. It lacks structure and proper punctuation in many places. I now call it my purge piece. It was me ridding myself of that never-ending weight I had carried around my entire life. Pandora's box was now open. It was time to start the most painful, challenging, scary, exciting, eye-opening, gratifying, empowering, and necessary chapter in my life.
