I could not agree more. Music has always been such a huge part of who I am. It speaks to me in so many different ways. My aunts told me that when I was a little girl, whenever "Killing Me Softly" by Roberta Flack would play, I would immediately burst into tears. Nothing about that fact has changed.

Music is poetry conveyed to us through lyrical sonnets. It does not get much more soulful than that. One day, I decided to begin curating what would become the soundtrack to my life. My until death do us part, ultimate mixed tape. I will release it with the first book I publish, which is currently in the works.

Music inspires me. It motivates me. It has the ability to take me to different places, as well as the power to evoke the memories of places and people I have experienced in this life and past lives. I have a playlist for every mood. I will now bestow these magical playlists upon you.✨
